Lip Blush FAQ

  • What is Lip Blush?

Lip Blush is a semipermanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the color, shape, and definition of your lips. Using a fine needle, pigment is gently implanted into the lips for a soft, natural-looking tint.

  • How long does it last?

Results typically last 2–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare.

Annual touch-ups are recommended to help maintain color vibrancy.

Lip blush fades very slowly and evenly over time.

  • Does it hurt?

A topical numbing cream is applied before and multiple times during the procedure to keep you comfortable.

Most clients describe the sensation as mild scratching or tingling rather than pain, if they feel anything at all.

  • What’s the healing process like?

Initial healing takes about 5 days. Lips will appear brighter and slightly swollen on Day 1.

Day 2-5 color gradually softens and lightens as they heal. Peeling is normal and part of the process.

Most clients do not experience any discomfort after day 1. Day 1 discomfort is generally mild.

  • Will it make my lips look bigger?

While Lip Blush doesn’t add physical volume, it does enhance lip shape and definition, creating the illusion of fuller lips without filler.

  • Can I get Lip Blush if I’ve had lip filler?

Yes! Lip Blush pairs beautifully with filler. Lip filler often blanches natural lip color and can leave your lips with “patchy”, uneven color and less defined borders. Lip blush is the perfect fix for this!

It’s recommended to wait at least 3 weeks after filler before getting Lip Blush to allow swelling to fully subside and the filler to settle. This ensures even color placement and smooth beautiful results.

  • How do I prepare for my appointment?

Hydrate well and gently exfoliate your lips a day or two before your session. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood thinners 24 hours prior to your appointment.

If you have a history of cold sores it is recommended to take an antiviral before and after your appointment.

  • Is it suitable for everyone?

Most clients are great candidates! However, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should wait.

  • What’s the aftercare like?

You’ll need to keep your lips clean, dry, and protected with Aquaphor while they heal. Avoid picking, scrubbing, or applying makeup to the area until fully healed. Avoid sun exposure until fully healed.

Brow Lamination FAQ

  • What is brow lamination?

Brow lamination uses a gentle solution to realign your brow hairs, keeping them lifted and styled in place for a fuller, smoother look.

  • How long does it last?

Results typically last 6–8 weeks, depending on your hair type and aftercare routine.

  • Does it damage my natural brows?

When performed correctly by a trained artist, brow lamination is safe and nourishing.

Our formulas include conditioning ingredients to keep hairs healthy and hydrated.

  • Can I still use brow makeup?

Yes! You can still use brow pencil or gel for extra definition if you like, but most clients find they don’t need much after lamination.

  • How do I care for my brows after the treatment?

For the first 24 hours, avoid getting your brows wet or applying makeup or oils. After that, brush them into place daily and apply a light nourishing oil or conditioner to keep them soft.

  • Who is a good candidate?

Brow lamination works for most people!

It’s especially great if you have uneven, thinning, or downward-growing brows and want a fluffier, more lifted look.
